About Art Show
Date: 30.03.2007Time: 7-11pm
For the past 10+ years, Los Angeles very own Augustine Kofie has been hoarding discarded treasures. For the first time, a very special Installation of his accumulated assortments will be on display in the windows of SURU for the month of April 2007. Snatched metal signs, vintage spray cans, outdated drafting supplys, assorted Boom Boxes, Electronic Equipment, Industrial Furniture & a healthy handful of Tool Boxes will adorn the front & interior display windows of this forward thinking boutique. Most of these personal & never before seen artifacts have been embellished with Kofs unique design asthetic, some maintain their natural age & beauty.
While most of the pieces in the window installation were not-for-sale, several paintings displayed on the boutiques walls were available for sale.
